At Kirkbride Primary School, we are proud to represent a school with an excellent team of dedicated staff, wonderful pupils, and a passionate community who work together to support and strengthen our school.

Kirkbride is a small rural school with a BIG heart! Many of our staff, parents and governors attended the school themselves, and together we form a close-knit school family. Our vision is simple: every child should have the opportunity to flourish and grow, in the pursuit of excellence for all. Our small size means no child is ever invisible, while our ambition ensures we continue to think BIG.

We aim high, inspiring every child to reach further, aspire higher, and explore beyond what they already know. Every child is known as an individual, encouraged to try new things, and supported to feel safe and confident in taking on new opportunities. No one is ever left behind.

Our curriculum provides rich and memorable learning experiences through our learning environment, residentials, educational visits, and learning opportunities. We also nurture curiosity and a love of learning by making the most of our wonderful outdoor setting and local area.

Our school is at the heart of the community, with a shared belief that education is a partnership between children, parents, staff, governors, and the wider community. Our committed governing body plays an active role in the school’s development, while our Parent-Teacher Association raises significant funds to support learning opportunities.

We are currently in a transition period as we recruit a permanent Head Teacher for Summer term. In the meantime, we are delighted to have Mrs Selina Noble as our Interim Head Teacher, providing strong leadership and support while the Governors continue the recruitment process.
